The Senior Client Relations Specialist (SCRS) is responsible for maintenance of client referral base, promoting the pathology practice to current and prospective clients, and gaining new clients in Wyoming. The SCRS will hold additional responsibilities within the Administrative Business Support Office.
Essential Responsibilities Include
â¢ Develop and maintain favorable relationships, through routine practice visits, with prospective, new and existing clients in order to maintain and increase business.
â¢ Identify and promote services referring physician practices value through interaction with prospective and current clients.
â¢ Solve problems, answer questions and build a relationship of trust and reliability with the referring physician practices and his/her entire staff.
â¢ Assist in development of practice-specific marketing materials as needed, i.e.: brochures, logos, business letters, etc., and participation in medical association meetings and other functions as required representing the practice.
â¢ Monitor and evaluate market trends in the industry and new competitors in the region to remain competitive.
â¢ Provide written reports regarding current activities on a routine basis.
â¢ Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing objectives to support the pathology practice's goals in obtaining new referring physician client accounts.
â¢ Identification of new accounts, new prospects and potential opportunities for growth.
â¢ Other administrative duties as assigned.
â¢ Works and communicates cooperatively with other team members to identify and complete responsibilities and meet goals.
â¢ Maintains current knowledge and skills applicable to job assignment through on the job training and continuing education
â¢ In addition, the role may include other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on organizational need or requirement.
â¢ Strong verbal and customer service skills
â¢ Efficient organizational skills: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
â¢ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
â¢ Knowledge in Power Point and Publisher
â¢ Marketing or healthcare background, degree, or commensurate experience
â¢ Customer service background helpful
â¢ Education/Experience: 3-5 years experience in a healthcare or laboratory business support role.
â¢ Mid level computer skills in a Windows environment with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
â¢ Attention to detail and critical thinking skills are essential.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS/EQUIPMENT USED ENVIRONMENT
An inherent potential for mucous membranes of the skin to come in contact with blood, body fluids or tissues exists. There is also a potential for spills or splashes. Appropriate protective measures are required for every employee. Position involves medium work -- exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Also involves constant standing, walking, sitting, hand use, vision, hearing, and noise, as well as some stooping/bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs. All work will be performed within a laboratory, more specifically a histology laboratory, and in close proximity to electrical instruments and other laboratory equipment and chemicals. Requires use of equipment which includes, but is not limited to, computer terminal and printer, electronic scanner, dictation equipment, telephone, copier, facsimile machine, and personal protection equipment.
