Nu Personnel, Inc of Gadsden AL is currently looking for Driver Recruiters (CDL-A, Commercial Trucking, 18 Wheeler, Drivers)
As a driver recruiter at Nu Personnel, Inc you will be working direct with trucking companies to help meet their driver recruiting needs. The position is a base plus commission along with benefit opportunities after a specific period time of employment.
A good driver recruiter can make upwards of 75k per year.
Hours are 7:45AM - 5PM Mon - Fri
There will be weekend work involved but only as needed to maintain communication with driver prospects.
This can be done from cell phone, home, etc. Minimal weekend work. You will want to stay in touch with the drivers you're recruiting and that are planning on being in orientation on Monday morning.

Here are some guidelines:
Identifies passive and active candidates by leveraging a variety of recruitment resources
Screening drivers
Interviewing drivers
Processes verifications of previous employment & verifies against application making note and requesting correction of dates or employers if necessary
Obtains copies of all documentation required to complete on boarding of new owner operator contractors
Review and discuss contractor application with Recruiters
Accurately enter and maintain up to date information on a continuous basis in the applicant tracking system
Obtains copies of all documentation required to complete on boarding of new owner operator contractors
Monitor and answer daily emails in Microsoft Office, Tenstreet and other related applications and software pertaining to recruiting and onboarding of drivers
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
-Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
-Desirable Education/Experience: Associate's Degree and one year of Transportation and recruiting experience preferred
-Identifies and resolves problems
-Demonstrates attention to detail
-Produces unambiguous, comprehensive and accurate interpretations
-Composes thorough and detailed written technical documentation, procedures, manuals, etc.
-Writes clearly and informatively. Edits work for spelling and grammar
-Presents organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
-Excellent negotiation skills to deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization
-Utilizes a variety of interpersonal styles and communication methods to effectively adapt to new work structures, processes, or cultures
-Demonstrates follow-up skills
-Provides timely and professional support to all internal/external customers and vendors
-Prioritizes regular workload, special tasks and concurrent projects, allocating time and resources to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established time frame
-Self-motivated
-Team-oriented. Consults with team members and management as needed to complete assigned responsibilities
-Establishes and maintains effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally
-Maintains strict confidentiality
-Basic Computer Skills: Strong Fluency user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; accurately inputs information into and retrieves from the computer; quickly learns and achieves proficiency in new software applications as needed; demonstrates ability to create complex formulas in MS Excel; create queries in company software applications
-Thorough knowledge of internal company software applications applicable to position/business unit
-Acts as subject matter expert and provides training, troubleshooting and other support for software applications managed by business unit (i.e. COGNOS, FIS, Incentive Scorecards)
-Understands and is familiar with the most widely known and emerging tools, technologies and social applications
