Directs the development and execution of marketing objectives, budgets, strategies, and capacity planning for base of machines in the retail market.Responsible for machine & parts product planning and management throughout the product lifecycle, including: investigating and prioritizing new product and customer requirements, defining product performance specifications and working closely with Engineering, Operations and Sales to ensure revenue and customer expectation goals are met.Drives market research to ensure market acceptance and consumer demand.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

Product Line Development

  • Develop, forecast, implement and monitor new & existing machines & kiosks for a retail environment

  • Assesses user satisfaction with current machines, direct engineering team on improvements, identify gaps in market for potential opportunities for new machines.

Market Knowledge

  • Analyzes market trends, competitor activities, and consumer/retail habits.

New Product Launches

  • Work with Engineering and Design teams to support marketing and business functions in the development, design, and launch of machines.

  • Reporting activities that summarize KPIs of machine performance, quality issues, and more.

Market Research

  • Coordinate market and competitive research to identify consumer needs and behavior trends.

  • Grows brand reputation through innovative solutions.


Bachelor's degree required, Bachelor degree in Marketing strongly preferred.


  • Four years' experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a technical role. Interest in technology and user interface with machines preferred.

  • Experience working with home centers, "big box" retailers, and co-op hardware chains preferred

  • Experience in developing engineered products with internal and external R&D resources.

  • Analytical capabilities & strong excel background.

  • Excellent organization and planning skills – able to meet deadlines in a multi-project environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Willingness to travel 10-15% of the time, depending on the timing of the product cycle.

  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Windows, statistical & space planning software.
