Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health California is seeking qualified individuals to support adult individuals at our NEW and exciting enhanced behavioral program as Behavioral Interventionist / Direct Support Professional II. In this role, you will provide high quality ABA treatment for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disabilities in their home and community settings. In this position, you will receive paid training and supervision to become a Registered Behavioral Technician!
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health California provides programs and services for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities including behavioral health issues in residential, day program, and community settings. This position is located in the Goleta/Santa Barbara area.
Full and part-time positions are available. Pay rate is $15.00-$18/hour, depending on qualifications.
You will work under the direction of the program administrator. A BCBA or designee will provide ongoing supervision to staff in process of obtaining their Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification, and once obtained, in order to maintain it.
• High School Diploma or GED; BA in a related field preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain upon hire
o Direct Support Professional Year 1 Certification by the State of California
o Direct Support Professional Year 2 Certification by the State of California
o Registered Behavioral Technician Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
• Must have a minimum of 6-months of experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities with a
focus on behavioral health services; 1-year of experience is preferred
• Lead Direct Care Staff must have a minimum of 1-year of experience as outlined above.

Be empathetic, a team player, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement, and represent yourself as a positive role model. Additionally, you must be able to successfully pass required clearances, complete required new hire orientation trainings, and have a strong passion for supporting individuals with special needs.
