Every application you work on will directly impact how our homeowners and service professionals connect and communicate. You'll deliver some of our most innovative and cutting-edge technology solutions to date.

As our team grows, we're looking for someone who loves to code and can work hand-in-hand with experts from product development, marketing, software test and other partners to determine the best solution (not just the easiest solution) to our business problems.

  • Solid understanding of OO programming

  • Design, implement and maintain java applications

  • Analyze product requirements and translate into Java code

  • Debug and resolve technical issues

  • A TDD driven mindset

  • Work cross functionally to build applications

  • Mentoring of other team members

If you can demonstrate your skills in these areas, then we should chat:

  • 6+ years of strong Java language fundamentals particularly Java 8 and newer

  • 6+ years of Enterprise application experience using Spring, Spring Boot, XML, JSON

  • 6 years of Relational Database experience such as Oracle, MySQL

  • 6 years of experience with RESTful web services and microservice architecture

  • 6+ years of experience and strong belief in using unit testing as part of development and using framework such as Junit, Spock

  • Experience with version control system tools such as GIT and build management tools such as Jenkins

  • Experience with Kafka

  • Experience with Agile methodologies

  • Experience with Kubernetes

  • Understand SOA and OOP concepts

  • Understand CI/CD processes

  • Understand abstract problems and able to provide innovative solutions

  • Bonus points if you've worked with Docker, AWS, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, or have fluency in at least one Linux-based scripting language.
