Our busy office currently has an opportunity for an individual to immediately fill our open IT Help Desk Technician position. In this position, the successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of customer's computer workstations and associated software. The IT Technician will also be the main point of contact for customers who are experiencing computer issues. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join an established organization with room for personal growth.
Primary Job Function:
Assist customers with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software
Must be comfortable in a remote service environment
Offer daily operations and systems support to customers
Verify functionality of hardware and software components
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
Assist customers with both hardware and software problems and answer their questions
Configure and maintain backup operations
Sale of computer hardware and software
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Required education - High school or equivalent with the want to take continuing education courses
Required experience - Information Technology: 1 year minimum experience with both hardware and software
