- Assist with evaluating pertinent information and data related to complex financial issues, and providing independent analysis and evaluation of issues.
- Assist with development of draft resolution strategies, to include the description of corporate structure, business lines, liabilities, and contract obligations.
- Apply analytical and research skills to produce reports and developing written summaries and conclusions of analytical findings based on the analysis and assessment of resolution strategies and plans.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with team members and staff of other divisions and offices; staff of other supervisory and regulatory agencies; and representatives of financial institutions and private industry.
- Assume responsibilities for handling logistical activities, organizing and maintaining databases and information, assisting with preparation of materials for working groups, tabletops and other outreach opportunities to facilitate the resolution planning process.

To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as follows:
Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade GS/CG-7 level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience researching and applying analytic or data management principles assisting in development of data analysis and reports for financial markets or financial institutions, or to related lines of business (i.e., derivatives, real estate finance, private wealth management, credit card operations, commercial or residential mortgage lending, asset based financing vehicles).
EDUCATION: I have completed a Master's or equivalent graduate degree with major study in finance, business administration, economics, accounting, insurance, mathematics, banking and credit, law, real estate operations, statistics, or other fields related to the position.
COMBINATION of graduate level education and specialized experience as described above, that together meet the qualification requirements for this position.
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/CG-9 grade level or above in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience researching and contributing to reports or data analysis related to financial markets or financial institutions for the review or development of a resolution plan of a large financial institution (bank or bank holding company, insurance company, or broker-dealer, clearing house, payment system, and other financial market utility).
EDUCATION: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education with a major study in finance, business administration , economics, accounting, insurance, mathematics, banking and credit, law, real estate operations, statistics, or other fields related to the position.
COMBINATION of graduate level education as described above beyond the 2nd full year of graduate education, and specialized experience as described above, that together meet the qualification requirements for this position.
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/CG-11 grade level or above in the Federal service.
Specialized experience is experience developing research and data analysis and written evaluation of information for the review or development of resolution plans or strategies of a large financial institution (bank or bank holding company, insurance company, broker-dealer or financial market utility), to the valuation of such an institution, or to capital management or liquidity stress testing of such an institution.
