Job Summary: An Inventory Coordinator (IC) assists all departments with inventory, tracking, planning, and movement of allograph tissue from receipt to final disposition. The IC is also responsible for ordering and maintaining inventory levels for all consumables used at our Company.
Essential Duties:
• Work hours are 9am-6pm each day, Monday-Friday. Over time may be involved
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Responsible for all logistics related to tissue and tissue movement from receipt to final disposition, ensure proper labeling and traceability
• Must maintain inventory levels of all consumables
• Must strive to obtain consumables from the most cost-effective sources
• Must ensure suppliers are approved vendors for Alaris
• Must prepare the production schedule to ensure production levels meet corporate objectives
• Must be able to prepare reports on inventory and production levels
• Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to communicate internally and externally
• Must be proficient in MS Office type software and other menu driven programs
• Must perform all duties while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• AA Degree is preferred but the proper combination of education and job-related experience may suffice
• One to three years of inventory control experience is desired
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds
• Must be able to handle dry ice safely and work with extremely cold items
