Enterprise Money Movement (EMM) is responsible for setting and executing the enterprise-wide money movement strategy for U.S. Bank. This role will support the work of the Payments - BDO Lead: Payments – Business Digital Officer (BDO) within EMM and will partner with the Payments business line (Merchant Processing - Elavon, Consumer Cards - RPS, Commercial Cards - CPS and Global Treasure Management - GTM), and other teams with the Chief Digital Office to design and execute the digital strategy. This includes:

  • Acting as conduit between CDO Organization & Business Lines

  • Managing Development Pipeline

  • Creating & Prioritizing Digital Roadmap

Role Responsibilities:

  • Obtain, track and maintain information from multiple sources to create meaningful reports and business metrics for senior management

  • Identify strategic priorities to drive business improvements (e.g. key performance and leading indicators) in consultation with key stakeholders; track these priorities to completion

  • Assist with external and internal reporting activities, including monthly reporting to Managing Committee, annual budgets, business plans, cost reviews

  • Ensure the relevant information is sourced to ensure budget and forecasting processes are completed

  • Support the Payments Business Digital Office (BDO) in regular reviews of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Market Infrastructure reporting

  • Provide general support for ad-hoc projects and initiatives undertaken by the Enterprise Money Movement team

  • Attend and maintain minutes for key meetings / forums and track actions to closure

The successful candidate will participate in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects. Assigned projects may be general or systems related in nature, will interface with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs; and, will participate in training users and evaluating the project; and, will manage performance of the project team and evaluates overall team performance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • 10 or more years of experience in project management activities

  • Two or more years of managerial experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Expert knowledge of assigned business line or functional area

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Advanced knowledge of project management

  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
