This position can be in any AECOM office location across the US and will support the HR technologies team for the Americas region.
In this role you will develop and maintain best-practice HR systems and reporting in a way that contributes to the achievement of business goals. Collaborate with internal customers across HR and business to analyze needs and translate them into system specifications and enhancements, ultimately improve our digital HR experience and adoption.
Advanced user of current systems: Workday, Oracle, Kenexa Brass Ring, Cognos, SharePoint, Service Now .
Facilitate HR technology ticket escalations to find patterns / themes and drive change in our processes and configuration to improve user experience.
Lead Americas team through technology projects (like enhancements & upgrades) from planning to configuration to testing and implementation – provide leadership, functional and technical support.
Facilitate training and support users on HR technology functionality
Own Americas Workday configuration related to HR business processes, security, access, testing, issues/fixes – test and approve configuration changes
Point of contact for integration related changes, enhancements, fixes and implementation for new vendor integrations – liaison with other stakeholder teams like IT and finance.
Responsible for supporting interfaces with various technologies and issue resolution to ensure data integrity across platforms, vendors and downstream systems with data in Oracle.
Research and identify solutions to business issues, and / or emerging HR Program requirements.
Collaborate with HR centers of excellence teams and business facing HR teams around process efficiencies, and advocate needs to drive solutions.
Own data governance & integrity – provide leadership, functional and technical support on mass data changes, loads, conversion and quality clean-up activities. Lead on technology projects including the integration of company acquisitions.
Partner with key stakeholders on change management and communication strategies related to upgrades and releases.
- Partner with people analytics team on reporting, data management security / access – support and advise on reporting capabilities to streamline and automate reporting capabilities, and enable self-service analytics

- BA/BS and 8+ years of related HR technology experience or AA/AS and 10+ years of related HR technology experience.
Exposure to Oracle, Cognos and Kenexa Brass Ring highly desired.
Previous experience with Workday HCM system configuration (essential).
Experience with large scale HR systems implementations (essential).
Strong understanding of core HR business practices and areas – HR technology, rewards, talent acquisition, talent management and HR operations.
Advanced skills in Excel and strong Power Point skills.
High level of data management and analysis skills, with experience in gathering requirements, developing solutions, and integrating cross-functional system solutions.
Knowledge of contemporary HR technology practices and industry trends and the ability to network and research latest trends.
Experience in a professional service environment or highly commercial major organization.
Strong communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as an active member or lead on cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of maintaining confidentiality, multi-tasking, meeting strict deadlines, problem solving, and the ability to work well under pressure.
