Senior Managers fill the role of Project Team Member, Project Manager who are expected to lead and guide cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget, and scope

Example responsibilities entail:
Partnering with clients to uncover business needs and objectives, craft appropriate strategies, and identify/implement efforts to help achieve client goals
Conducting secondary research to glean relevant insights from both qualitative and quantitative data sources
Designing and conducting primary research for projects with partnership/oversight from the Insights & Strategy practice lead. Example responsibilities include:
Determining when and how to use different market research methodologies (both qualitative and quantitative)
Designing research plan, writing qualitative discussion guides, conducting qualitative research (one-on-one interviews, focus groups, ethnographies, etc.)
Overseeing partners in the fielding and analysis of quantitative research
Identifying and synthesizing key insights from research into a concise story for the client
Developing insights-based, comprehensive marketing strategies and tactical recommendations. For example:
Weaving together insights from numerous sources (e.g. secondary research, primary research, etc.) to tell a concise and meaningful story to the client
Identifying and applying strategic frameworks to communicate client recommendations
Writing briefs to explain the objectives, strategic role and guidelines for the Creative Team to develop Marketing tactics
Assuming responsibility for all aspects of the project life cycle including: project proposals and business cases; charters, plans, resourcing, and budgets; financial reporting, status reports; issue management and risk mitigation; communication plans; delivery and project close out
Helping the Lead of the Insights Practice area continue to build and grow the practice by developing internal training, processes and procedures
Overseeing multiple research projects at one time with less experienced researchers, providing guidance as needed
10+ years experience in at least one of the following industries: market research firm, market research department within an agency or client-side, management consulting, advisory, professional services and/or Big 4 consulting or strategy experience
Experience designing and executing qualitative marketing research (e.g. Interviews, Ethnographies, Focus Groups, etc.)
Experience designing and overseeing quantitative research (e.g. online surveys)
A demonstrated ability to partner, collaborate with and lead a diverse range of resources and personalities with distinct perspectives
Highly proactive, self-starter is a must
Strong problem solving skills including critical thinking, data analysis and synthesis skills
Strong presentation development and storytelling skills
Strong facilitation, team building and relationship management skills
Ability to prioritize across projects and internal tasks
Comfortable leading and managing across multiple workstreams at one time
Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
Ability to train junior Insights team members
Ability to build and maintain relationships with mid-level to senior level clients
An open-minded, can do attitude to tackle diverse problems with innovative, customized solutions
Patience and passion for teaching others about insights methodologies and best practices
Ability to travel up to 50%
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university
Preferred Skills
Experience planning and conducting UX Research
Expertise in the Digital insights and analytics
Experience designing and executing Marketing research
Experience in Innovation and/or Customer Experience Strategy
MBA or Masters Degree in Marketing Research or related field is preferred but not a requirement
Excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a sense of humor
