BELFOR is looking for qualified candidates for the following position. BELFOR team members are a unique breed, committed to restoring not only property, but restoring lives for those affected by disasters, large or small.
Oversees one or more of the restoration /mitigation profit centers (water damage, fire damage, contents).Has a strong influence on who is hired/fired from their team structure and any disciplinary issues. Handles scheduling and work assignments for the team.
A person with excellent communication skills
Experience in ESTIMATING and safety is a plus. Strong organizational skills are necessary.
Be Responsible for all materials and inventories of the customer's belongings with a computerized system. (ICAT)
Must be able to schedule work flow, manpower, equipment and coordinate efforts with other departments.
Be responsible for emergency work, and maintain professionalism in restoring a customer's belongings.
Insure that contents are properly cleaned, deodorized, repaired.
Maintain clear listings of a client's inventory, repairs and location.
Clean and inventory belongings from fires, biohazard loss, water losses, mold etc.
Follow up on contents returns.
Set daily crew schedules, coordinating personnel & field technicians.
Conduct jobsite visits as requested.
Setting up training regimen for contents
Handling of emergency service calls and implementation
Attend and lead BELFOR (if required) sponsored operations and safety training courses
Willing to work on call.
Will coordinate with the warehouse manager, crew leaders, contents workers. Provides performance feedback to crews
Willing to continuously learn new processes and techniques
Be able to identify product (consumables) usage and disposal requirements with training attendance and completion of all BELFOR sponsored content training courses.
Must have a cleaning and restoration certification or 5 years of job training.
Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFORS vehicle policy.
Possess sense of urgency, professionalism demeanor, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
English language literacy and fluency.
Occasional lifting of 41 lbs +
Access and mobility in tight spaces
Sustained period of standing, sitting, walking bending and kneeling
Ability to use Mobile devices for collection of data and time and computer for maintaining records.
Safety Coordinator back up:
Provide local safety support for the local office
Investigate all incidents and accidents
Work under the supervision and guidance of the safety manger
Conduct monthly safety and training meetings
Ensure company compliance with OSHA and the BELFOR company safety manual
Marketing back up:
Promote good will and the company to prospective business' and customers
Identify and contact sources for additional; restoration and contents business
Assist Marketing coordinator with promotional events if time permits
Work under the supervision and guidance of the General Manager.
