In October 2018, our acquisition of Specialty Foods Group (SFG) expanded the market presence of Indiana Packers Corporation with the addition of SFG's Kentucky Legend and Artisan Crafted Series national brands as well as Fischer's, Field, Kentuckian Gold, Scott Pete, and Mickelberry's. Our fresh pork is the main component for creating the quality product for these unique brands of meat. Prior to this strategic acquisition, IPC has been known regionally for our Indiana Kitchen branded fresh pork products, including our award-winning bacon. Obviously, we are proud of our success in the industry and accomplishments we have achieved, but we are humble enough to realize that our people is what made it happen.

The Frankfort Production hourly team member will use straight and or mechanical knives, skinners, and other processing tools to trim and cut carcasses to meet stringent customer specifications. To ensure food safety, the production floor is generally around 35 to 38 degrees. Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.
- Ability to work 5-6 days a week and overtime
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs. and do constant pushing, pulling, reaching, stretching and bending (depending on position)
- Ability to work with raw meat products
- Able to work in an extreme cold, damp or extreme hot and humid environment
- Walk constantly and stand on concrete for 8-10 hours
- Able to work with knives
- Able to follow safety and food regulations
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment is preferred but not required
- Starting Wage is $15.88 with a $0.53 increase at completion of 90 days
- Top Wage is $17.09
- Second Shift Premium is $0.50 cents an hour
