Responsibilities of Master Technician:
â¢ Create raving fans with exceptional customer service
â¢ Diagnose and repair to specifications on passenger and light trucks - may include brake & hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or
advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment and air conditioning
â¢ Minimize customer complaints through the provision of thorough yet time-effective repair services
â¢ Able to work independently of others, while also assisting collaboratively with peers
â¢ Ensure that shop equipment is maintained in top working condition, and adheres to shop safety and environmental practices
â¢ Adequately explain technical diagnoses, needed services and repairs to employees and customers on an as-required basis in a
courteous and friendly manner
â¢ Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly
changing automotive technology
â¢ Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
â¢ Maintain organized and neat bay area
â¢ Operate equipment and customer vehicles safely and responsibly
â¢ Maintain strong communication between store teammates and all support departments
â¢ Be familiar with, adhere to, and enforce company policies and procedures
â¢ Adhere to legal guidelines, including such things as OSHA requirements,
â¢ Step up to additional responsibilities when needed
â¢ At least 18 years of age
â¢ Valid driver's license required
â¢ High school diploma or equivalent
â¢ ASE Certified Automotive Technician and/or minimum 1 year experience with vehicle repairs.
â¢ Positive attitude and the ability to relate well with other employees and customers.
â¢ Experience in passenger/light truck install & maintenance, oil changes, tire repair, minor auto repair, etc.
â¢ Ability to perform all job functions that require lifting and or carrying single items weighing at least 50 lbs., as well as
functions and activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, reaching, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or
â¢ We offer a full work schedule Monday - Saturday (most locations close at 2pm on Saturday), and you'll be home on Sundays
