The Lifebridge Thrift Shop not only provides essential funding for our programs each year, but also ensures a supply of clothing and essentials for our clients.
• Ability to work as a team member and serve as a mature associate representative for Lifebridge \ River House organization
• Able to receive direction and independently follow tasks through with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills.
• Must be able to meet physical demands of the job, such as moving and arranging merchandise.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with fellow workers and customers.
• Detail orientated, able to multi-task and remain flexible with assignments.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to work in merchandising setting and lift a maximum of 35 lbs. without assistance, required to get assistance for lifting and/or moving any objects of an awkward shape over 35 lbs.
• Manual dexterity capable of operating cash register, clean and repair merchandise.
• Ability to execute frequent reaching, bending, handling and lifting of merchandise.
• Ability to be on feet for majority of workday.
Work Environment / Hours
• Typical retail/resale (Thrift Shop) setting
• Lifebridge Thrift Shop is open 7 days a week, extended workdays are an occurrence as needed to support the organizations needs
• This is a part-tine position up to 32 hours a week, including to work 1 late night (7:45 pm) and weekends including 2 Sundays a month.
Skills Required
• Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Operations of a point of sale system
• Merchandising
• Cleaning, sorting, repairing merchandise
• Bilingual a plus
• Reporting:
• Lifebridge Thrift Shop cashier direct reports the Thrift Shop Manager and indirectly to the Operations Manager.
• Pay:
• Based on experience.
