The Position

The Company is adding a Senior Accountant to its growing, forward-thinking team. The Senior Accountant is a critical position that plays a key role in large-scale construction projects, directly impacts the success of the accounting team and drives overall Company profitability. The Senior Accountant is a true business partner, working closely both upper management and key field personnel.

The position holds high level responsibility for a wide range of duties and reporting functions of the Company including, but not limited to, ownership of full-cycle accounting on key Company projects, working closely with the Controller and CFO, preparation of financial statements and tax returns, handling month-end closing processes and reporting, executing budgeting and forecasting, performing financial analysis, maintaining tax and audit schedules, and all other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in progressive accounting roles

    • Management experience is preferred but not required

  • Construction industry experience is required

  • Experience with all aspects of accounting and auditing principles and best practices

  • Solid technical skills, including proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office Suite programs

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
