The Restaurant Manager (RM) has the overall responsibility for managing the daily operations of a single Burger King restaurant with an average unit sales volume of 1.1M and between 10-45 employees ensuring operational outcomes (sales, profitability, financial controls, people development, guest service) are achieved while in compliance with all Burger King Corporation/RedKing Foods LLC required expectations.

Full accountability for the restaurants profit and loss management by implementing marketing strategies, following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory, managing labor, and reviewing financial reporting to enhance restaurant sales.
Manages cost control, P&L, operations budget ensuring bottom line profitability for assigned restaurant.
Ensures BKC/RedKing Foods LLC standards on equipment, facility and grounds are maintained. Inspects and troubleshoots malfunctions of equipment and facilities.
Leads restaurant management team in the recruiting, selecting, hiring, training and retaining effective team member talent.
Responsible for all employee counseling (verbal and written) and disciplinary actions to be taken in compliance with RedKing Foods LLC policies.
Demonstrates proper procedures and observes policy, provides feedback to the employee.
Assists all staff by responding to requests and resolving problems.
Coordinates the schedules of subordinate management staff and Team Members ensuring that all shifts are staffed according to restaurant needs. Approves time off requests and coordinates appropriate coverage.
Conducts performance evaluations, employee counseling and disciplinary action as determined by company policy.
Reviews and updates the Manager Log by performing the necessary duties as noted in the Log and providing information to be communicated to other managers.
Communicates daily with guests, other Restaurant Managers, District Manager and other Burger King Corporation employees.
Schedules events such as birthday parties and fundraisers. Makes the necessary preparations and completes the appropriate paperwork.
Takes daily deposits to the bank, processes voids at front counter and drive-thru, oversees the verification of individual drawers and completes cash reconciliation worksheets.
Inspects indoor and outdoor areas of the restaurant and delegates any necessary duties to Team Members for follow-up.
Coordinates maintenance and upkeep of facilities and equipment. Contracts with outside agencies, communicates with the contractors, arranges payment for services and processes paperwork as required.
Competent in performing all Team Member positions and any necessary heavy cleaning duties.
Confirms deliveries by identifying product labeling, checking off items, signing paperwork and dating products. Adjusts stock levels according to the Operations Manual.
Performs inventory for closing: counts stock in storage areas, coolers and freezers; records final counts, processes paperwork; calls in bun count to bakery; performs inventory for closing/month end.
Monitors restaurant activities by performing QSC tours periodically throughout the shift and documents any items that need to be communicated to other managers in the Manager Log.
Performs Product Tests and Temperature Readings on equipment as required and documents on appropriate paperwork. Arranges maintenance and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
Handles customer complaints and inquiries, resolves the complaint and counsels Team Member if necessary.
May performs opening and closing responsibilities: locks/unlocks doors and drive-thru; opens/closes safe; sets the security systems; checks parking lot before opening and closing restaurant.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Supervise 2-6 hourly supervisors â as a management team supervise a total of 10-40 employees in the restaurant.
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this restaurant.
Ensures that assigned restaurant is in total compliance with all applicable Federal/State laws.

High school and minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience or related experience.
Reliable transportation required.
Being accessible for phone calls outside of work to maintain management responsibilities.
English language proficiency that enables speech clarity and proficient verbal and written comprehension.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
