Job Description


The Marketing Specialist, Processes manages the Communication Review Process (CRP) as the company's formal review system for communications for all external (and many internal) audiences, handling over 3,000 submissions annually and interfacing regularly with varying types of content and levels of submitters throughout the organization.


The role also supports activities required to onboard and support new individual Marketing Team members for success and acts as an ongoing resource to help navigate the organization and the systems and processes in use throughout the Marketing Department.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Functions as primary gatekeeper and administrator for CRP (Communication Review Process)


Manages validation process prior to formal review for both verbal and voice areas.


Maintains complex reviewer matrix across all included disciplines such as Legal, Medical and Compliance.Assigns reviewers promptly and appropriately.Monitors progress and ensures timely completion of formal review and required documentation for later audit.


Maintains CRP systems elements, including:


User administration


Asset management


Navigation hierarchies and values for tags and drop-down menus


Reporting/dashboards


SOP documentation


Aids in the development and management of training materials and may conduct training sessions as assigned for CRP:


Training Modules – develops, conducts live and recorded sessions.


Quick Reference Guides and other aids as needed


Monitors/Reports for CRP


Monitors email support inboxes


System dashboards


Ad hoc reporting


May also aid in the development and management of documentation for:


All supported Marketing sites and applications


User SOPs


Admin SOPs


System Setup/Business Rules


Other documented Marketing SOPs, including the Creative Development Process


Functions as a critical resource for Marketing Department members in terms of processes and systems, including:


Onboarding new Marketing employees to the various processes & systems in use


Ordering computers and supplies for new employees and ordering routine supplies and other materials as needed for meetings, etc.


Support marketing-wide communications and meetings with logistics as assigned


Acts as an ongoing "help desk" to help navigate the organization


Resource Libraries


Brand reference library


Coordinates with Medical Affairs for scientific/reference materials


QUALIFICATIONS:


Education


BA/BS in marketing, advertising, business, communications or other related field


Experience/Skill Set


Five+ years of experience in progressively expanding marketing roles.Experience in managing websites and applications dedicated to the support of internal and external marketing activities preferred.


Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work flexibly and effectively manage multiple stakeholder priorities.


Understanding of various marketing tactics and tools.Knowledge of the creative development process and production, as well as meeting planning and events, a plus.


Strong written and oral communication skills.


Commitment to quality results, flawless execution and continuous improvement.


Experience developing and conducting systems training for end users


Analytical, disciplined project manager with exceptional attention to detail.


Fully proficient with MS Office and especially Excel.Graphics programs such as InDesign a plus.
