4-12 shift 6 days a week.
Must be able to supervise all kitchen duties when the Chef is off
a) Prep work, b) fulfilling all food orders, c) keeping the kitchen clean
Minimum of 3 years experience as a cook
Excellent attention to detail,
Ability to work under pressure, able to take expedite direction
Able to work in high volume
Knowledge of fundamental cooking
Skilled in grill, saute, prep work, all combined
Have good knife skills, time cooking management
Knowledge of HACCP and N.Y.C. Sanitation practices
48+ hours per week
Able to work independently
Food Handling Certificate
Speak/write English well
