Needed experienced Food Servers for new Bistro in Pittsford.
Also, Event Staff for Events and Banquets from 30 to 200 Guests.
Service both Buffet and Sit down dinners and luncheons.
Bartenders needed for both Restaurant and Events.
Server Job Responsibilities:
Serves patrons by providing information to help food and beverage selections; presenting ordered choices; maintaining dining ambiance.
Server Job Duties:
Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Helps patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails and aperitifs; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties; identifying appropriate wines; answering food preparation questions.
Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices; identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests.
Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
Event Wait Staff / Bartenders
This position entails event setup, cleanup and providing service to guests during the event. Must have an upbeat, positive attitude and be customer service oriented. Without exception you must be a people person and willing to work as a part of a team. Saturday availability is a must! Experience is preferred, however, a strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills are acceptable alternative attributes.
Lead servers are responsible for providing direction to the service staff as well as making sure the event is executed flawlessly. You will work the event from start to finish- must have great communication skills to effectively work with the guests and entire staff. Experience in the special event industry is 100% necessary.
All applicants must have a positive attitude, high energy, great people skills, motivation, ambition and willingness to work as part of team. Flexible availability required. Weekend availability required. Most hours will be on weekends, primarily Saturday afternoon-late evenings. Must have reliable transportation. Compensation determined by experience and ambition level.
We focus on weddings, corporate meetings and other large-scale events and we provide a diverse menu. Banquet Servers are responsible for all table service duties as well as prep work and closeout tasks. Run food from the prep-area to the banquet hall on demand. Hours will vary week to week. morning, afternoon, and night shifts available.
Assist with food and table prep before the event begins
Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance
Serve plated dinners to guests and respond to requests for beverages, appetizers and other needs
Communicate with banquet supervisor as well as other servers and event organizers
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Open wine and take drink orders is a must.
