Home Health Clinical DirectorJaisohn Home Health Care Inc. – Philadelphia, PA 19126As a start-up agency, we are looking for a competent Clinical Director who will report to the Executive Director. As Clinical Director, you must possess excellent management and mentoring skills. Able to provide, organize and coordinate patient care and programs for our clinical operations. You must also have outstanding communication skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and issues. Oversee and ensure that clinical disciplines function according to organizational policies/procedures, licensure, state/federal guidelines, Medicare/Medicaid standards for Home Health. Bilingual in Korean/English is a must. The goal is to ensure the smooth running of the clinical department aiming for maximum team performance in the provision of quality patient care and satisfaction.ResponsibilitiesImplement strategies and plans for compliance with governmental and regulatory agencies to promote/maintain care standards for excellent service and growthAssists with budgeting and resource managementPlan and oversee all clinical patient care scheduling, administrative programs and operationsPerform both patient and supervisory visits in the patient’ homeParticipates in the recruitment, orientation and training of employees to ensure the department is staffed with qualified personnelAssign cases, create schedules, cover and coordinate on-call 24 hour/7 day a week schedulesEvaluate employee performance and discipline employees when necessaryProvide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous developmentMonitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies, conduct case conferences/staff meetings, documentation/coding review and perform clinical performance improvement audits to promote/maintain best practice quality standardsRequirementsDegree in Nursing from an NLN accredited program or the equivalent with current RN licensure in PA.Minimum three (3) years in nursing, with at least two (2) years in home health or community health nursing required.Minimum one (1) year in a supervisory or management position.Demonstrated competency in computer and software use.Possess leadership and organizational skills: Maintains a professional attitude to communicate effectively, courteously and cooperatively with patients, caregivers, colleagues, supervisors and all others. Enjoys working with people, approachable, assertive, mature, and open-minded.Valid current PA driver’s license and automobile insurance.
