Data Management and Insights (DMI) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. Our work enables Wells Fargo to empower and inform our team members, deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, and meet the elevated expectations of our regulators. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers' financial needs.

Support the resolution of regulatory findings, regulatory compliance and reporting, risk management, and all major lines of business through the remediation of issues with master and reference data, the successful candidate will:

  • Support the Enterprise Master and Reference Data (eMRD) team's business enablement and solutions management functions

  • Understand multiple use cases and properly define requirements for MRD

  • Operate processes to triage and assess data issues to identify the scope, scale and root cause

  • Support the development and evaluation of options to remediate issues in a manner consistent with eMRD strategy and in close collaboration with eMRD, BDL teams and other participants in Solutioning Groups.

  • Support the execution of enterprise wide remediation programs as required

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis

  • 2+ years of academic research experience

  • 2+ years of communication experience in one or a combination of the following: facilitating technical conferences, publishing articles, or delivering tailored presentations

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience articulating a complex problem, design, or build strategy

  • Data management experience

  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations

  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment

Other Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of communication experience in one or a combination of the following: facilitating technical conferences, publishing articles, or delivering tailored presentations

  • Deep subject matter expertise in banking products, master and reference data capture and maintenance processes within major lines of business

  • Ability to understand and opine on technical aspects of data management solutions

  • 15 years of experience in financial institutions (FTE or consulting) with a strong preference for candidates with a well rounded background (across lines of business, enterprise functions, etc.)
