Neutral Posture is looking for dynamic individual with a entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude to step into the newly defined role of business development. The focus of this position is to generate new business opportunities.
Job Duties Include:
â¢ Follows call strategies and messaging as developed by manager.
â¢ Researches and determines best contacts for leads received from tradeshows and sales team.
â¢ Pro-actively contacts assigned leads and cultivates relationships. Follows-up efforts with multiple touches (email, phone, etc.) until qualified meeting scheduled. Continues to follow-up and maintains contact through close of sale.
Cross-trains in other sales support functions, including contract / bid preparation and submittal and customer service (assisting on technical questions, sales quotes, custom requests, and customer complaints).
â¢ 2+ years of business development or related sales experience
â¢ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
â¢ Effective cold calling skills with innate sales ability
â¢ Strong sense of urgency, motivation, and professionalism
â¢ Ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of company's products, industry trends, and competition
â¢ Strong attention to details and organizational skills
â¢ Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
