rapidly

expanding

Fugro

operating

company

responsible

for

the

management

of

the

Fugro

fleet.

This

fleet

consists

of

various

types

of

offshore

vessels

ranging from

survey

to

geo-technical drill

vessels.

In

addition FMS

supervises

new

building projects

worldwide

and provides

maritime

expertise

to

Fugro

as

a

whole.

For

our

Fleet

Management department

we

are

currently

looking

for

a

Vessel

Superintendent

with

solid

experience

in

the

oil

&

gas

industry,

and

preferably

with

knowledge

of

MODUs

and/or

DSVs,

based

in

Houston,

USA

.

Roles And Responsibilities

Key

tasks

&

Responsibilities

for

assigned vessels

Ensure

excellent

availability

and

reliability

of

your

assigned

vessels
through:

Coordination,

delegation,

planning

and

execution of

all

matters

regarding your

assigned

vessels

in

close

communication

with all

relevant

parties;

Ensuring compliance

with

Fugro

safety

practices

and

procedures

at

all

times,

and

in

line

with

our

clients’

and local

legal requirements;

Preparing

and

managing

the

budgets

for

your

assigned vessels by

ordering materials

and services

on

time

and

in

accordance

with required standards

and

regulations,

and

in

accordance

with

the

Company’s

best

economic

interests;

Regular reporting,

administrating,

updating

and

controlling

all

responsibilities

through

the

designated

Computerised

Management System.

Requirements

Position

requirements

We

are

looking for

a

generalist

with

real

passion for

the

marine

industry

who

Has

a

minimum

of 2

years’

proven

experience

of

coordinating activities

and/or

project

management,

preferably

in

the

oil

&

gas/offshore

industry;

Possesses

proven

professional

skills

in

management

and

reporting;

Has

both

sea-going

and

onshore

office

experience;

Has

technical

knowledge;

Is

fully

up to

speed

with

international

marine

Health,

Safety

&

Environmental legislation;

Is

proficient

in

administrative

responsibilities

and

is

able

to

use

MS

Office

related

software;

Has

successfully

completed

academic

or

higher

education,

and/or

has

higher

professional

vocational

working level;

Is

fluent

in

English,

both

verbal

and

in

writing,

and

has

excellent

communication skills;

Has

the

following
competencies:

is

results-oriented,

is

adaptable

and

is a

problem

solver;

Lives

in the

USA

(Houston area)

or is

willing to move

there;

Has

the

ability

to travel

and participate

in

activities

relevant

to

the

vessel’s

operation.

Travel

destinations

may

intercontinental.
