Job Title: Veterinary Technician
Who We Are
In 1988, the Animal Birth Control clinic was opened to offer a low-cost alternative for the entire community to achieve a reduction in the numbers of unwanted and euthanized animals. Generally, our services are used by Waco and McLennan County residents, but we have many clients from surrounding counties also. Reduced cost healthy pet services are provided daily from 10am-2pm as well as spay/neuter surgery 5 days a week.
Who We Need
ABC believes that people love their pets and will provide for them to the best of their ability. We are looking for compassionate individuals that share that belief and who are moved by serving underserved people and their pets. We will provide training for the right candidates -- no previous animal experience is needed however you do need to love animals and be comfortable in close contact with them.
Is It You?
You may be our ideal Veterinary Technician if you meet the description above, and if:
⢠You're so friendly that you've never met a stranger; you make new friends everywhere you go and your smile is remembered by all.
⢠You want your work to be more than just a paycheck; you want to make a difference for people, their pets and the community.
⢠You are a great communicator who can work well with a team.
⢠You enjoy a fast-pace and thinking on your feet.
⢠You are so detailed-oriented that your DVD collection is chronological by release date AND alphabetized.
⢠You love multi-tasking so much, you took up juggling.
We will be hosting a 1 hour information session at our clinic on Monday, October 23rd at 6:30PM. Please RSVP to Sarah Moran: firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know that you would like to attend this information session - space is limited, so don't wait to contact us!
