Purpose and Scope of Position:

Ensure that arrays of products are being heated and move across the line at the appropriate temperature for pouring and cooling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the different line machines.

  • Complete product orders on time.

  • Clean and change out the product on the machines.

  • Refill the machine once the product has run out.

  • Calculate the different speeds the machine needs to run at for the type of product ordered.

  • Knowledgeable on how to troubleshoot the machines.

  • Keep track of number of products completed.

  • Perform quality checks on the finished products.

  • Leave work station clean and orderly after each shift.

  • Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.

  • Adaptability to shift or hour changes.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1 year in a manufacturing setting.

Language Requirements:

  • Preferably able to speak English or Spanish.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to alternate between sitting and standing.

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours.

  • Ability to walk for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Ability to use a step ladder for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Ability to perform fine manipulation such as picking or pinching for 4 hours.

  • Ability to perform gross manipulation such as holding, grasping, and turning for 6 hours.

  • Ability to lift and carry 80-100 pounds for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Near visual acuity, ability to perform quality checks for 8 hours.

  • Ability to push or pull 80-100 pounds for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Ability to reach above the shoulder with 100 pounds for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Ability to stoop or bending for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Ability to crouch or kneel for 4 to 6 hours.

  • Ability to operate a barrel dolly.

  • Ability to utilize a pallet jack.

Work Environment:

  • Working within a production and laboratory setting. The laboratory environment requires GMP compliance such as a hairnet, beard net for any facial hair, lab coat, long pants, and closed toed shoes.

  • Facial piercings must be removable.

  • Occasionally loud environment when multiple machines are running.
