We are looking for a Field Supervisor with a strong work ethic, leadership skills, a professional appearance and demeanor, and a good overall knowledge of all trades--from Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, and Drywalling to light Plumbing and Electrical. You must also display excellent customer service skills, including solid communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to interact in a positive way with a wide variety of different types of clients, as well as fellow employees, management, and office personnel. Field Supervisor must be willing to work 40+ hours per week, including weekends as necessary to deliver exceptional customer service and support the team.
This is a working field supervisor role. This means that you will perform some jobs on your own, some jobs with a team and supervise others.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
Successful prior track record as a team lead Carpenter / Craftsman; estimation skills
Retail/Restaurant Tenant Up fit experience is a plus
Ability to perform carpentry, drywall, tiling and minor electrical and plumbing
Proven track record of managing employees
Experience in problem solving in home improvement
Understanding of County Building Code requirements and process
Own standard set of tools to perform all of the above trades
Must own truck or work van
Current and valid driver's license
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving skills
Strong documentation and invoicing skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Ability to pass a drug screen
Construction: 7 years
working with power tools: 5 years
reading blueprints: 5 years
