Amazon is seeking a Sr. Program Manager for the Prime Now Whole Foods Market (3P) network. Your primary area of focus will be launch execution and scalability for new Whole Foods Market stores and product offerings. A candidate with prior field operations experience is an ideal fit. This role will require you to understand the needs of field operators in order to successfully implement launches for long term success. You will act as the primary liaison between all Ops stakeholders (Field Ops, Delivery, SCAR, Central Operations, Flex, Work Force Staffing, HR, etc.) and the business team. Consequently, as you will be the single voice for the operations team, clear and concise communication skills are imperative. You will also be expected to interact internally with senior-level audiences to provide updates and make recommendations that will achieve the long-term vision for Prime Now at Whole Foods Market. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. This role is located in Seattle.

Responsibilities include:

  • Communicating risks to launch and the respective mitigation plans to senior leadership

  • Understanding the ins and outs of daily field operations pain points, and establishing excellent working relationships with field partners to identify ways to solve

  • Thinking creatively about how technology can enable a scalable and low cost launch structure

  • Gathering and analyzing data to identify ways to reduce the timeline required to launch new stores and products

  • Driving innovation that improves the customer experience and continuously removes cost from our fulfilment network

  • Participating in cross-functional project teams to scope, design, and execute complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders that enable the launch of new projects and processes

  • Developing Amazon best practices for internal operations

A successful candidate will also demonstrate:

  • BA or BS from an accredited university

  • 5+ years of experience in , program, or project management

  • 3+ years of experience with root cause analysis and process design

  • Data-driven decision making or quantitative analysis skills (including deep knowledge of and )

  • MBA or Master's Degree in a related field

  • Experience working in Amazon's network

  • 7+ years of and/or retail industry experience

  • 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional programs, including external and internal stakeholders

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences

  • Experience working with cross functional teams

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity

  • Experience/certification in / Mfg. methodologies

  • Experience developing and executing a change management program across cross functional teams
