On-site Project Manager Location: Afghanistan

The Role:
In this role, you would manage all aspects of a multisite healthcare program in Afghanistan. You should have extensive broad-based, cross-functional, and progressive experience managing a team of multi-disciplinary clinicians and support staff in an international setting. Your resume should reflect at least five years of project management, including; coordination of project plans, compiling project reports, providing a status deliverables to all involved stakeholders. You must have the ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government, and public contracts related to this project. Your experience may have been obtained through a career of project management or in leadership roles for the Department of State (DOS) or the Department of Defense (DOD). You should be able to demonstrate a background of making independent decisions regarding the project while assimilating your in-depth knowledge and understanding of the project's policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of day to day operations in compliance with standard of work
Build and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
Exceed the client's expectations and identify opportunities to add value to the client
This position would be in an office setting on a U.S. Government compound located in Afghanistan. Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
At least five years of broad-based project management experience
Working knowledge or Department of State and U.S. Military policies and procedures
Experience leading and managing healthcare projects
Demonstrated flexibility and creativity in effectively addressing both internal and external challenges
Conditional offer will be contingent upon the successful completion of an extensive background investigation and fit for duty certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous or current security clearance from the DOS or DOD
Currently licensed as a clinician; doctor, paramedic, registered nurse, or physician assistant
