The Arc of Spokane is the largest Arc chapter in the state of Washington, and Spokane County is home to approximately 7,000 people with an intellectual or developmental disability.

Supported Living is The Arc's community living program, supporting adult men and women living in homes they own, lease or rent with housemates. With the freedom to work, socialize and recreate as they wish, Supported Living participants can enjoy the best life has to offer--a comfortable home, full access to their community, and caring staff who are fully qualified to meet their support needs.
Position Summary: The Community Living Instructor provides support and guidance in areas of independent living and learning, community skills, personal health and safety to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
We offer paid on-the-job training and will assist you in obtaining your Registered Nursing Assistant license and other basic certifications for this field. Schedule flexibility is key.
• Minimum age 18
• HS Diploma or GED
• Must successfully pass a criminal history background check
• Legible handwriting and good communication skills
• Reliable transportation (driver's license and proof of insurance)
• Must be available to work the paid training and obtain certifications.
$12.15/hour+ DOE and benefits including medical, dental, paid leave, life
insurance and retirement once eligibility criteria is met.
*****Sign on Bonus of $50.00, then an additional $200 after completing the following: 60 days in good standing, clearing required background check and completing required training*****
