Ownership of IT Testing Platforms, including but not limited to the following: MTC (Mylan Testing Center), an HP Quality Center product, Quick Test Pro, Loadrunner and Turnkey, and any future modules or product that Mylan may acquire for testing.
Define, maintain, and mature enterprise engineering charter, framework, and governance. Create technical design options and reviews with key stakeholders to determine best technical approach and design.
Drive the successful completion of Testing related IT projects. This may include leading an internal and external group of engineers as required to deliver on project work ensuring smooth transition from design to build by deployment / provisioning resources.
Understands and complies with all established corporate, IT and engineering standards, policies and procedures. Contributes to, prepares, and reviews changes to standards, policies and procedures. Contributes to changes to IT policies and procedures.
Leads in building business cases and work plans by designing and selecting medium to high complexity solutions, assessing risk, analyzing impact and providing estimates for work as requested. Reviews requirements and ensures design meets functional and non-functional requirements
Reviews and/or approves technical changes per Mylan documented change management procedures. Leads, participates and/or provides direction in testing technical solutions and configurations.
Create and publish platform engineering standards, principles and models. Create and review lifecycle documentations, including but not limited to: Design Specifications, Configuration Specifications, Requirement Specifications, and Architecture Diagrams.
Lead and guide the operational support team, including drafting work instruction documentation and providing review and approval of operational actions. Provide guidance and technical expertise to other engineers and team members.
Develop and execute custom reports for testing platform by directly querying the database.
Accountable for the budget, performance and results and could be responsible for leading other internal and external groups.

Here are the minimum qualifications and essential functions for this position:
A Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience is preferred. Related experience and/or education may be considered.
Solid understanding of GxP testing strategies required.
Must also possess knowledge of GMPs, 21 CFR Part 11 validation and change control concepts and the ability to effectively apply those concepts to daily system run and enhance activities in the context of a global, multi-national Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
Must have proven success on projects with testing solution deployments.
Previous experience with HP Quality Center preferred.
Excellent working knowledge of the technologies and business processes within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. High degree of process and service orientation.
Has successfully worked in cross-process business activities on a multi-national level. Strong financial skills and business acumen.
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
