BTA is seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our growing agency, focused in the consumer healthcare and tourism industries as well as the B2B energy and manufacturing markets. In this role of Marketing Account Manager, you will develop custom marketing plans, lead a team of specialists to implement integrated marketing programs, and collaborate closely with clients to ensure we track and deliver results.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be skilled at applying the full marketing mix to meet client goals, such as re-positioning company brands, launching products and services, and generating online leads. You will also have a talent for managing multiple programs, initiatives, and teams, and a passion for comprehending complex products and processes.
As a BTA Marketing Account Manager, you will:
Understand clients’ business strategy, differentiation, and position
Serve as the primary client-facing lead on designated accounts
Lead development of positioning and messaging
Develop integrated marketing plans that tie to customer’s business goals
Identify and manage BTA and client resources needed to accomplish plans
Ensure defined objectives are monitored and reported, and changes are made where metrics goals are not being met
Ensure clear communication between the client and BTA team/leadership, utilizing tools such as project plans, status reports, and editorial calendars, and leading project/status meetings
Write posts and contribute ideas to the BTA Web site and Blog
5+ years experience as a marketing account manager in a marketing and/or PR firm
Technical research and writing capability
Thorough understanding of traditional and digital media
Proven relationship skills
A natural talent for preparing and making presentations
Proficiency in planning, strategy, organizing, time management, implementation and accountability
This is a full-time, salaried position with company paid health care, Simple IRA program (BTA matches 2% of your salary), and a great group of professionals to work with.
