Sand Logistics Coordinator
West Virginia, Northern panhandle

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Sand Logistics Coordinator for one of our clients in the Wheeling, WV area.
Works with Logistics Operations Center to support and assist with managing last mile sand logistics. The focus of this job will be to assist in forecasting, planning and scheduling of sand to well sites. Coordinates with other logistics team members, transloads facilities, yard crews, operations personnel and service providers in order to reduce traffic congestion in the field, reduce or avoid costs wherever possible, improve safety, and maintain an optimum level of resource utilization of all forms of sand transportation.
The major components of this role are to provide excellent customer service to well services operations with focus on sand delivery to well site and maintain sound technical capabilities. The position will deliver direction and guidance in non-routine situations, documenting action and providing information to completions operations as well as dispatchers assisting the workload.

Work with frac crew to ensure sand deliveryWork with dispatchers to achieve high utilization and optimal productivity for field operations.Maintain and promote a positive attitude.Technical
Coordinates loads and/or equipment movements.Prepares documents to communicate customer orders and shipping details to various personnel.Schedules the pickup and delivery of materials utilizing approved carriers according to all load tendering guidelines and standard operating procedures.Efficiently schedules and delivers the right product to the right place at the right time.Produces high level of work, communicates statuses, and prepares written reports.Receives emergency calls, logs, and communicates calls to appropriate personnel.Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
One or two years of experience in oil and gas, transportation, 3 years’ experience in oil and gas transportation in the OH, PA, WV area Knowledge of the transportation industry, freight rates, commodities, and classification of loads; general knowledge of common and dedicated carrier contracts and shipping regulations is preferred.
Must have the ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Access & Excel SharePoint). Should be capable of running additional software applications including proprietary, mapping and GPS software.
Previous history of utilizing a Transportation Management System
