**Please apply directly to the Clean Harbors website, by copying the URL below into your web browser**https://careers.peopleclick.com/careerscp/client_safetykleen/external_cleanharbors/gateway/viewFromLink.html?jobPostId=86760&localeCode=en-usThe OpportunityThe Technical Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the efficient use of regional equipment and manpower to provide CleanPack and logistical services to internal and external customers.Why work for Clean Harbors?Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!Competitive wagesComprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employmentGenerous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursementPositive and safe work environmentsOpportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your careerKey Responsibilities: Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;Provides compliance/DOT (Department of Transportation) information, maintenance information, safety updates and permits for our fleet to management;Understands expected job profitability prior to scheduling and manages resources accordingly;Schedules CleanPack jobs within an assigned territory or region and organizes personnel and equipment for optimal efficiency and execution;Creates a complete and accurate CleanPack sales orders, ensuring that all expected profiled waste is quoted and on the pickup sheet prior to dispatching field teams;Ensures that all equipment is maintained and is in working order as per Clean Harbors and federal guidelines and requirements;Maintains transportation permits to ensure compliance;Daily supervision of CleanPack Chemists and Drivers;Reviews job folders at completion of each job to ensure worksheets and related paperwork is sufficiently completed;Ensures the trip and dispatch reports are entered daily for every vehicle and ensures there are no missing miles on any vehicle;Ensures payroll is reconciled to meet established deadline;Maintains strong communication and working relationship with Central Logistics and the Regional Logistics teams;Performs other duties and tasks as assigned and required by business needs.What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?Minimum of 1-year experience within the transportation industry;Post-secondary education in Environmental Science, Chemistry or a related discipline is preferred;Previous driving experience preferred;Thorough understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) and RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) rules and regulations preferred;Hazmat training a definite asset;Strong computer skills with a solid proficiency in Windows-based applications;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Strong customer service, leadership and supervisory skills.Join our team today!
