Department: Marketing Reports to: Property Director & Vice President of MarketingHours: Great Part time schedule working Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. **may include occasional weekend coverage of the leasing office About this Job: As a Leasing Consultant for United Financial Group, Inc. you will play an important role with the onsite management team. Our Leasing Consultants create a positive and lasting influence on visitors, prospects and residents, and understand the importance of first impressions.As a Leasing Consultant, you manage your own success by attaining leasing goals, such as occupancy and rent growth, and by building rapport with prospects and residents.Essential responsibilities: Follow proper procedure for opening and closing the Leasing OfficeAnswer the phone in a professional mannerHandle inquiries concerning leasing information and refer other calls to appropriate personnelGreet prospects and the public in a friendly, helpful and professional mannerConduct tours in accordance with Fair Housing Law, following leasing procedureAccept applications and earnest money depositsTrack inquiries on the Weekly Traffic Report on a daily basis and prepare the Weekly Vacancy Report, should the need ariseMaintain YARDI or any other applicable program providedConduct follow up using the computer systemPrepare Rental Packets, addendums and appropriate paperworkPrepare Marketing Material and Welcome PacketsMaintain waiting list for apartment homesPlan and execute all monthly (or as necessary) Marketing Open House events and activitiesPrepare and submit PR Request Forms to the VP of Marketing to request advertising and public relations for marketing eventsRecord maintenance requestsAssist with the task of updating residents’ files as neededComplete any daily filingAssure the intercom, mailbox and directory boards are updatedInform the Property Director or your supervisor of any areas of the apartment community that are in need of attentionAssist in the preparation of quarterly reports on traffic and lease upAssist in placing orders for suppliesWhen necessary participate in Marketing Outreach at local events*Core Competencies: Computer skill in the Windows environment (Microsoft Word and Excel)Sales or Marketing backgroundGreat communications skill and the ability to work with people of diverse backgroundsHigh level of professionalismDetail oriented*Personal Attributes: Ability to build relationships and discover needsEnthusiastic and goal orientedProfessional in appearanceEnjoys working with the senior 55+ populationCompassionate, kind and caringArticulateTeam PlayerAbility and energy to conduct multiple tours in a work dayExperience and Education: Prior Leasing experience and understanding of vacancy procedurePrevious office experienceExperience in the Property Management field preferableProficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word and ExcelThe list provided is not meant to be all-inclusive and an employee may be asked to perform duties that are not listed on the position description.
