Are you friendly, reliable, and comfortable handling payments in a busy hospitality environment?

As a Cashier at Zumana in Bali, you will welcome guests at the point of payment, process transactions accurately, and help provide a smooth and positive customer experience. You will work closely with the front-of-house and wider team, keep the cashier area organised, and follow procedures for payments and cash handling.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will manage guest payments and support cashier operations, following Zumana’s service standards and cash-handling procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming guests and responding to payment-related questions in a friendly manner
• Processing cash, card, and other accepted payments accurately
• Using the point-of-sale system to process transactions and issue receipts
• Checking bills and payment details before completing transactions
• Handling cash carefully and following procedures for cash floats and handovers
• Balancing transactions and reporting discrepancies to the appropriate team member
• Coordinating with front-of-house colleagues to resolve billing or payment queries
• Keeping the cashier area clean, organised, and ready for service
• Following workplace procedures for refunds, discounts, and payment adjustments
• Protecting guest and transaction information and following relevant security procedures
• Reporting equipment issues or concerns to the appropriate team member
  
  

Could This Be You?

• Have experience in cashiering, retail, hospitality, or customer service; experience is welcome, but not essential
• Are confident handling payments and basic transaction records
• Can use, or are willing to learn, point-of-sale systems
• Are friendly, approachable, and attentive to guest needs
• Are accurate and responsible when handling cash and payments
• Communicate clearly and work well with colleagues
• Can stay organised and composed during busy service periods
• Are reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail
• Can work scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required
  
  

Familiarity with a point-of-sale system and experience handling cash would be an advantage. A positive attitude, good communication, and a commitment to accurate service are important for this role.
