Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay is located on the southern tip of the island of Bali on the northeast slopes of the Bukit peninsula. Luxuriously appointed private villas are built into a gently terraced hillside named Bukit Permai, which means "beautiful hill".
About the Job:
The Bartender assures each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, and graciously with eye contact, and a smile. The Bartender provides hotel guests and servers with a quick and efficient beverage service following Four Seasons service standards. The Bartender has a complete knowledge of all products served at the bar and ensure that all guests receive the highest level of service.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of one year experience as Bartender.
Strong beverage knowledge regarding beer, wine and liquor is required.
Excellent communication and organization skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language. Knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work all types of shifts, weekends and holidays.
Working knowledge of the Micros system is essential.
Basic wine knowledge preferred.
Degree & Diploma in the Hotel Management.
Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order.
Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
