Under direct supervision of disposal coordinator (C52281), the incumbent performs work support related to all aspect of disposal action that includes utilization, donation, sale, and other disposition of excess and surplus personal property. It requires knowledge of property disposal operations and programs and the ability to apply regulations, practices, and procedures as per standard U.S. Government (USG) property management regulation. The incumbent is responsible for accountable records, adjustments, inventory corrections, coordinates closely with third party for disposal, re-use for recycle and donation and monitors the record status of inventory that requires the use of automated disposal and / or USG supply systems.

Inspects disposal property condition and makes changes to reports to describe the identities and conditions of items correctly. Ensures proper handling, storage and accountability of excess or surplus property to prevent damage, loss, or personal injury.

Qualifications and Evaluations

EXPERIENCE: At least two years experiences in supply and related warehouse experience are required.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have common knowledge of property and warehouse operation, warehouse safety and standard storekeeping procedures.

LANGUAGE: English - Good working knowledge in speaking, reading and writing. This will be tested.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Bi-Mission in Jakarta may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.

A “certification” is any written document from the armed forces that certifies the service member is expected to be discharged or released from active duty service in the armed forces under honorable conditions within 120 days after the certification is submitted by the applicant. The certification letter should be on letterhead of the appropriate military branch of the service and contain (1) the military service dates including the expected discharge or release date; and (2) the character of service.

Acceptable documentation must be submitted in order for the preference to be given.
