The Accounting Clerk is responsible for a full range of accounting duties including accounts receivable, payable, and collection activities. This position ensures that all transactions are accurate, timely, and handled in accordance with all company policies and procedures and state and federal guidelines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Accounts Receivable:Maintains systematic, accurate, and timely processing of all accounts receivable including, but not limited to, invoicing, posting payments, processing deposits, monthly billing reports and preparing credit memos.If applicable, ensures all invoicing is billed daily and in accordance with company practices and client contract agreements. Performs any follow:up on provider bills not received in a timely manner to decrease invoicing delays.
