REGISTERED NURSE (GENERAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT) # JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:# Provides professional nursing care to patients within assigned intensive or critical care unit utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION:# Graduate of an approved nursing school/program.# Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the adolescent, adult and/or geriatric patient population as specialty assignment dictates. # EXPERIENCE:# Experience in patient care as obtained through completion of an approved nursing program.# # LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION:# Registered Nurse licensure to work in state of TN.# Current CPR/BLS certifications required. ACLS required within 1 year of assignment. Critical Care Course required within six (6) months of assignment.
