Basic Job Functions:

Vulcraft Utah is seeking applicants for the position Grating Maintenance Tech. This teammate will be responsible for ensuring that the facility is maintained to the highest levels of Safety, Quality and Productivity. The Maintenance Tech will need to perform all types of industrial maintenance and fabrication duties, including working on Hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and controls troubleshooting, fabrication, and preventative maintenance. Maintaining a safe, organized and efficient work environment, assisting other areas with tasks when time allows, willingness to work additional hours both scheduled and unscheduled with minimal notice. Teammate will work with all shifts to accomplish one goal. (Take care of our customers)

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

2 years maintenanceexperience electrical controls including PLC’s, VFD’s and other related components and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in the use and application of maintenance programs

Understand the basic function of hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic

Ability to read and understand prints
