Security Specialist II - #19529072
BAE Systems is currently recruiting for a Security Specialist for its Aiken, SC facility. In this role, you will supervise all aspects of the security program ranging physical security to program security requirements.
Other responsibilities would include:
Implements, manages to and ensures compliance with government and company security policies, procedures and directives, to include BAE Systems Special Security Agreement (SSA) requirements
Develops and implements compliance standards supporting federal, SSA and BAE Systems requirements
Manages vetting requirements, visitor control and ensures proper training of site reception duties, badge handling and processing, visitor control and physical security management
Develops and/or delivers sector, site and program-specific security education programs ensuring all facility personnel complete appropriate training
Conducts security awareness briefings and debriefings, including counterintelligence, pre and post-travel and suspicious contact reports to site personnel
Conducts investigations and completes reports on all security matters and provides investigation reports to group leadership as required by BAE Systems policy
Implements all Corporate and Sector Security direction, policy and procedures throughout the facility in support of SSA and physical security requirements
Responsible for supervision of contract security guards
Maintains accountability databases and perform company badging and identification functions and access capabilities to facilities through the Department Security Systems Computer System (C-Cure)
Maintains security records in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures
Conduct Physical Security Assessments of all buildings and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with company policies.
Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
- Perform other security duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor degree or 5 years' experience
Must be able to effectively communicate with peers, other functions and site executives
- Experience with supervising a guard force.
