to the telecommunications and power delivery markets. We have a current opening
for a Utility Pole Inspector. At Mi-Tech, we support our customers and
stakeholders and constantly strive to exceed expectations with all of our
services, which include: Communications Design Services, Energy Distribution
Services, Utility Pole Inspection, and Environmental Services.
Responsibilities:
Complete utility pole inspection including sound and bore, full excavate,
and visual inspections
Utility pole maintenance, remedial treatments, and application of wood-
preserving chemicals
Manage utility pole assets through web-based mapping, and collection of GPS
data
Requirements:
1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
Travel throughout the United States
Valid driver’s license required with acceptable driving record
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Applicants must be detail-orientated
Experience using handheld electronic devices preferred
Knowledge of investor-owned utility inspection preferred
