WHAT YOU WILL DO:


As a Customer Support - Moves Specialist you will work in our Orem corporate office assisting our customers requesting a transfer or move of their system over the phone. You will a variety of responsibilities including customer service, technical support, and administrative casework. You will have the opportunity to be a dynamic part of a problem-solving team! This position is more administrative with telephone customer support. Prior home security and automation industry experience is a plus, but not a requirement.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE AS A CUSTOMER SUPPORT MOVES - SPECIALIST:


Fluent in English, both verbal and written (bilingual Spanish-speaking is a plus)


Excellent verbal and written communication


Ability to handle difficult situations and escalated customer calls


Demonstrated ability to work independently


Technically minded with ability to troubleshoot


Comfortable using a computer and learning our software platforms


Ability to type 40 WPM


Strong work ethic


Positive attitude


Excellent attendance


Ability to multi-task


Problem-Solving skills


Must be able to pass background check


Must be at least 18 years old


WHAT WILL HELP YOU EXCEL AS A CUSTOMER SUPPORT - MOVES SPECIALIST (NOT REQUIRED):


Basic understanding of NorthStar or connected home industry


Prior Administrative assistant experience


Prior telephone tech support experience


Ability to relate with customers


Obsessed with giving our customers the BEST service


Desire to join a team and continue making NorthStar an awesome place to work


CUSTOMER SUPPORT - MOVES SPECIALIST COMPENSATION:



  • $12-14/hr base pay (more if experienced)

  • $2-3/hr performance pay which is dependent on your own performance

  • Tier level testing available to increase hourly wage

  • Spanish speaking - extra pay

  • Commission opportunities on top of base wage

  • Full-time (30-40 hours per week)
