Position Description: Accounts Payable Clerk
Basic Functions: The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for verifying invoices, posting payments to vendors, reconciling ledger and vendor accounts and other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Desired Qualifications: Must be detail oriented and through. Ability to build relationships with other departments and vendors, great communication skills both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with emphasis in Excel. Previous Accounts Payable and Accounting experience is a plus.
Principal Job Duties
- Code and Process vendor invoices for all CSI departments
- Review invoices for satisfactory payment approvals
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts
- Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Produce monthly reports
- Process Year end reporting
- Assist with the month end close process
- Help with both internal and external Audit requests
