What you’ll be able to do:

The role/position holder will support Manager of Enterprise Reporting & Insights to deliver projects, tasks and use cases related to the Data Management Strategy in line with the overall corporate Data Strategy winning aspiration which is to deliver the best data products, solutions and actionable insights harnessing the power of analytics and artificial intelligence to fuel Ford Credit’s winning aspiration. Information analyst will learn all aspects of Enterprise Reporting & Insights, which will include crafting business requirements, business specifications, understanding business benefits of reporting, designing Alteryx workflows and dashboards as well as creating SAS/ SQL solutions.

  • Work with internal customers to develop business requirements and design Alteryx workflow and Qliksense dashboard

  • Work with existing report SQL and develop business requirements and design Alteryx workflow and Qliksense dashboard (i.e., WebFOCUS report replacement)

  • Collaborating with GDIA Partners, IT and the business teams to develop the right solutions to meet the business needs

  • Follow Ford standards for dashboard creation/Alteryx workflows

  • Train internal customers on using and creating dashboards themselves aligned with our data strategy vision

  • Convert Qlikview dashboards to Qliksense platform

  • Share and model design methods and best practices with team

  • Build SQL to extract data from EDW/GDW (Teradata) and further process Alteryx

  • Create and maintain robust business requirement documentation

  • Work cross-functionally and build trusted partnerships with MIS, GDIA and business partners through active engagement and communication, including other GDMS pillars

  • Research and find opportunities to continuously improve dashboards and reporting capabilities so resources can be used more efficiently in supporting the business

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field of study or a combination of education and equivalent experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Visio, Access, Project, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc)

Our preferred requirements:

  • 1+ year experience with Qlikview/Qliksense

  • 1+ year experience with Alteryx

  • 1+ year experience with SQL Assistant

  • Passion for developing new data products which help the business to drive intelligent insights and business decisions from the data

  • Ability to learn and embrace new tools, processes and technology

  • Ability to work independently and in agile environment; demonstrate initiative, analytical and curious mentality

  • Strong communication and organization skills, effective management of competing priorities

  • FCNA business knowledge across people, process and technology
