Position:
AVT, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service/Technical Support Specialist to gain in depth knowledge of our product line to be able to thoroughly troubleshoot both over the phone and in the field as needed.
The Customer Service position works both independently and as part of a team to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
Compensation:
$10.00-$14.00 per hour dependent on knowledge and experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Will learn in depth knowledge of AVT product lines to be able to troubleshoot.
• After the initial training period, you will identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Communicates effectively with customers; listens to customers' needs and takes immediate action to meet them.
• Perform highly complex troubleshooting of telephone customer care issues.
• Provide advanced problem diagnosis, resolution and follow-up for inbound telephone customer reported issues.
• Become proficient in providing necessary replacement parts and document customer interactions into our database.
• Capture and document accurate data in proper format and maintain and accurate database. Appropriately communicate with upset customers to resolve their inquiries.
• Thrives as a team player in a fast-paced, high-energy, change-oriented environment.
• Participates in additional training courses when needed.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required and as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Required Skills and Abilities:
• Strong verbal communication is essential. Must be able to communicate concisely and clearly, and to explain complex ideas in a simple manner to ensure understanding.
• Driver's License and a clean driving record.
• Experience with hardware and software issues.
• Logical problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.
• Proven written communication skills.
• Must have availability to work various shifts influenced by current business needs.
• Ability to use Windows operating systems and navigate between various windows.
• Work in a positive, professional, empathetic and customer-focused manner.
• Good organization and work prioritization skills.
Minimum Experience:
• 1 year minimum of Customer Service or Vending Technician Experience
• Some experience with technical components (building/fixing PC's, etc)
Required Education:
• High School Graduate
