Job Title: Assistant Accounting Clerk-Part-Time
Department: Finance
Reports To: Accounting Manager
FLSA Status: Hourly
Summary: Responsible for providing support to the Accounting department. Handles accounts payable duties and assists with other tasks. Will be cross-trained on vault duties and box office duties. Must be able to work possible nights and weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Check, verify and process invoices for the building.
Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
Prepare payments for signatures.
Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices.
Liaise with other departments, customers, and vendors.
Run reports for event compliance.
Contact clients for scheduled deposits.
Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Skills and Abilities
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field.
Knowledge of general accounting
Excellent and math skills; high aptitude for figures
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational ability
Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information is required.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
No certifications are required.
