Maintain daily sales activities operation and business process of General Trade (GT) area to achieve targeted sales volume and ensure compliance in company’s sales policies.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join Frisian Flag Indonesia's commercial team in Lubuk Linggau. This role is pivotal in driving the sales strategy and field operations to maximise market penetration and ensure achievement of sales targets within the General Trade (GT) channel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy & Operations: Develop, plan and monitor daily sales routes and activities for the sales team to ensure thorough coverage of all assigned outlets according to schedule. Effectively track and analyse sales performance against KPIs and targets, identifying areas for improvement and initiating corrective actions.
• Stock & Inventory Coordination: Collaborate closely with the warehouse team to manage stock levels effectively. Ensure product availability and quality standards are maintained to support sales activities and customer satisfaction.
• Program Execution & Monitoring: Oversee the implementation of promotional programs and marketing initiatives, ensuring compliance with company standards. Collect and analyse feedback from the market to evaluate program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
• Data Analytics & Market Insights: Conduct regular analysis of market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Distributor & Account Management: Manage relationships with distributors and key accounts, preparing detailed performance reports and conducting scorecard assessments. Lead coaching and briefing sessions for the sales team to elevate product knowledge and selling skills.
• Team Leadership & Development: Motivate and develop the sales force to build a high-performing team culture focused on achieving business goals. Facilitate ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the FMCG sector or related industries.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market information to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal teams, distributors and customers effectively.
• Ability to lead, coach and inspire a diverse sales team to meet and exceed targets.
• Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity identification.
• Proficient in using sales and inventory management software.
