Overview

Job Descriptions:

  • Develop nursery operational work plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Supervise routine watering, fertilization, gap-filling, and weed control activities.
  • Conduct prevention, monitoring, and control of pests and diseases affecting seedlings.
  • Manage and assign daily tasks to workers and foremen in the nursery area.
  • Perform seedling selection and culling (removal of abnormal or stunted seedlings) to ensure that only high-quality seedlings are distributed to the field.
  • Prepare routine reports on the condition, quantity, and development of seedlings for management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plantation Cultivation, Soil Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Nursery Assistant in a palm oil plantation company.
  • Strong knowledge of seedling propagation, seedling selection, fertilization techniques, and pest and disease control in both Pre-Nursery and Main Nursery areas.
  • Able to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work plans related to irrigation, weeding, and pesticide application.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer operations.
  • Willing to be placed in a palm oil plantation project area in East Kalimantan.
